Gibbs Products manufactures high quality rope grabs, but occasionally a spring will break. If this occurs during the warranty period (one year from date of purchase) please contact your dealer.

For out of warranty spring repairs Gibbs Products Inc. recommends that you send us your ascender for a factory spring replacement. The fee for this service is $15.00 and includes shipping back to you. (Continental US Only)

We also have available a spring replacement kit for the ½” (11mm to 13mm) ascenders. If you are handy with a drill and a few hand tools you can replace the spring and cover with a cable spring. The cost for this kit is $10.00 (Continental US shipping included)

There is no spring replacement kit for the larger ¾” (14mm to 19mm) ascenders.

• Replacement ¾”cams are $20.00 each
